Our Branch Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Thursday 16th November 2017 at the Weston Ex Services Association, Brookfield Park, Bath BA1 4JQ.  Doors open at 7:00 pm and the meeting will start at 7:15 pm.

As always, the formal purpose of the AGM is for Bath & North East Somerset UKIP members to meet together as a group and to elect the principal officers of the Branch; Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary and a new committee for the coming year.

Branch Officers will give their reports and members will have an opportunity to raise questions and discuss other issues facing the party and our Branch in the months ahead.

All members will receive a Formal Notification by email or post to their last known contact address.

We urge all paid-up members to join with us and cast their votes. Your support and contribution to the debate would be highly valued. Please remember to bring your current membership card as proof of membership.

GUEST SPEAKER – BEN WALKER

We are delighted to announce that local business owner Ben Walker has accepted our invitation to address members after the formal meeting. Ben was a candidate in the UK Independence Party (UKIP) 2017 leadership election and was UKIP’s candidate for Filton and Bradley Stoke in the 2015 General Election. Ben is a former Navy service man and ex- mayor of Bradley Stoke. He defected to UKIP from the Tories in 2012.

FUND RAISING RAFFLE, AND REFRESHMENTS

A licensed bar will be available and we will be having a raffle to raise funds. We always appreciate donations of small prizes from members, so please do bring along anything that will make a suitable raffle prize.

As the venue is a private members’ club, there is a small charge of £1 per attendee if you are not a member of the Weston Ex-Services Association.

To find the venue, if you travel along the High Street in Weston, turn into Eastfield Avenue and take the first turning on the left. The number 14 bus stops nearby as well.
